Na 10 jaar de Camaro (standaard 350Cui) te hebben gehad was ik toe aan wat ruigers. Dus kiezen tussen de Camaro motorisch en technisch flink upgraden, of een auto kopen die alles al heeft wat ik zoek. Dikke motor, suspension en brakes. En als het even kan een vet model. En dat is voor mij o.a. een Coronet uit 68 en 69.
Dus, Camaro verkocht, en dan maar shoppen in de US. Na Coronets te hebben besproken met de eigenaren (rare jongens sommige Amerikanen) is het deze Louisiana Bee geworden;
De particuliere eigenaar was een hele aardige vent. Hij gaf veel informatie en hield zich aan elke afspraak. De auto laten inspecteren door AutomobileInspections. Vier dagen na aanvraag op internet had ik het inspectierapport in de mail met 120 foto's. En de auto was zoals de verkoper beloofde dik in orde.
Er is de afgelopen jaren heel veel aan de auto vernieuwd en verbeterd. Hij is niet helemaal origineel meer

WM21 post car, solid southern body with factory undercoating. All floor pans and frame rails, etc, are very solid. Very good, driver quality, Hi-Impact Yellow paint w/ very minor blemishes. New bumble bee tail stripe.

Repro headliner, carpet and floor insulation, new floor mats, repro parcel shelf & insulation, repro front & rear door panels with new arm rest bases and pads. Also, repro trunk divider shelf & insulation, as well as new firewall insulation and dash insulation.
71-74 console with Hurst V-Matic Shifter and brushed aluminum console plate
Very nice factory rally dash with full complement of Autometer Sport-Comp gauges set in the original locations and order with all factory switches (lights, wipers, etc.), retained and operational. All gauges are electric (except speedometer) and are wired in with a Ron Francis kit for easy removal of cluster.
